David O’Shaughnessy is an Irish-born photographer.
After having worked as an electrician, David took time out and decided to return to studying photography. In order to pursue his visual studies he packed his bag and enlisted in the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in Farnham, England where he continued to study photography, film and making things.
On leaving Farnham David worked and travelled extensively as a photographer’s assistant, loading cameras, carrying lights and heavy stuff for some interesting photographers.
He has had work published and a lot not published. Does it really matter on the grander scale.
He is constantly engaging himself with image-based projects. In 2009 David’s Exhibition,
Zoo Logical, was a festival highlight at East London’s
Photomonth festival.
